1. Licensed & Insured

Matchabuilder experts must have the proper licenses and accreditations and insurance as required by local and all other applicable laws. For instance, to join our Singapore network, a general contractor must have a valid Building permit, Professional Engineer, Architect, Quantity Surveyor will have their practicing licenses.

2. Reference Checks

Matchabuilder personally reaches out to prior clients to understand each the project and get a feel for how they handle successes and setbacks. You can see candid references from real customers on each expert’s profile page

3. Quality of Work

We conduct a thorough visual inspection of each expert’s past work, quality, and skill to verify alignment between the work they show and the work they’ve actually done.

4. Experience

We look exclusively for experts who have a long history doing the type of work our commercial clients need. Experts must meet three criteria prior to matching: Demonstrated experience with your type of project, in your city, and at your budget.
For suppliers, we expect knowledge and support to assist clients to get the necessary knowledge and use of your products.

5. Financial Checks

All will have to submit their latest financials to Matchabuilder and we will use that as part of our assessment to determine their financial stability.

6. Company Profile Check

All will have to submit their latest company profile to Matchabuilder to complete the background checks.

7. Interview

We personally interview every expert with the goal of answering some specific questions:

• Do they communicate effectively?
• Are they responsive to our team?
• Do they exude professionalism and respect?
• Do they exhibit passion and knowledge?
